Sander van Hulst

Technical Lead & Offensive Security

Sander is an ethical hacker with a rare blend of low-level technical depth and broad pentest experience. He has worked on exploit development, secure code audits, and has multiple CVEs and bug bounties to his name. Previously, he served as security manager and technical lead.

Jori Blatter

Strategy & Delivery

With a background in IT leadership and secure systems architecture, Jori has shaped security programs at scale. Known for cutting through complexity, he helps teams deliver security by balancing risk, speed, and practicality. He previously served as CISO and engineering manager.

Our story

Code Guardian was founded by two long-time collaborators: a pragmatic security manager and a hacker with a builder’s mindset. We met while building a security team from the ground up inside one of the largest healthcare IT vendors in the Netherlands.

Since then, we’ve tackled red teaming, incident response, secure development, and executive strategy across both public and private sectors.

After years of seeing the same problems repeated in every organization, overworked AppSec teams, untriaged findings, insecure pipelines, we decided to do something about it.

That’s how Code Guardian was born.
